Sending feedback
When something is wrong, confusing, or missing, tell the team from inside Fablnx. You describe it in your own words; Fablnx asks a question or two so the team knows exactly what you need, and you check the summary before it is sent.
Send feedback
- Click Send feedback in the top-right corner of the top bar. It is there on the projects screen and inside a project, including inside Tekla Structures.
- Type what happened, or what you wish Fablnx did, and press Enter. Shift + Enter starts a new line.
- Answer the questions it asks — at most three. They are about what you were doing, what you expected, and where: which sheet, scene, member or view.
- Read the summary. Change any field that is not right, or click Keep talking to add more.
- Click Send.
The panel opens under the top bar on the right. Drag its title bar to move it out of the way, or drag an edge to make it bigger; see Move and resize any window.
What was open when you started — the project, the sheet or scene, the panel — is attached for you, so you do not need to describe the screen.
You don't have to be precise
"The callouts don't work" is a fine start. The questions are there so you don't have to write a bug report.
Follow what happened to it
The same panel lists your recent feedback with its status, and the status changes on its own as the team works on it:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sent | The team has it and has not decided yet |
| Approved | It will be built |
| Being built | It is being built right now |
| Done | It has shipped |
| Not planned | The team decided not to do it |
| Being looked at | Building it hit a problem the team is looking at |
